My last illustration.

The idea is to have create a cover , with the front the edge and the back ok the book. I use a basic composition with the face of the warrior in the cover.
The title is a tribute to next movie of Nicolas Winding Refn.

This is a speedpainting inspired after seeing some concept from Jonathan Delerue, a french storyboarder who have make some concept for Vanikoro movie.
Vanikoro is an Islands , where the French explorer La Perouse, was wrecked in 1788 and used to survived against cannibals.
The movie is directed by Xavier Gens and Viggo Mortensen and Phillip Seymour Hoffman are set to join the cast.
I used to creat to frightening silhouette which appear in the vegetation like two ghost who watching us, 2 houres to make it with Photoshop.

I want to make a character design in a different style, testing new colors, and having fun. I try to creat a image like a 3D model, with the more detailed that I can.

So here is the result, I post some close up because the source image has 5000x3500 pixels.



I will submit this character in Exotique 5 and hope to be selected one more year.

This is an illustration for the 3DVF contest on Jules Verne 's universe.
The Nautilus inspired by the greenhouse of the 19e century and the "athénée" ( I don't know the word in english) a forum for the poet of Ancient Greece.
The fountain in the centre of the room is an allegory of a theme in the book:
" the man and is desire to dominate the nature"

This is a portrait of Olivier Marchal (a French director and actor who directed "36 quai des orfèvres" ) inspired by the script of "Les Errants" the next movie of Arnaud Tourangin ( director and scriptwriter) with the agreement of (Nathalie Roussel, Philippe Nahon, Francis Renaud, and Olivier Marchal) ( I think that only French people can know these actors).
The script is good and I think it will be a great thriller.
I want to have a close up of the hero and keep the black and white for a nostalgic style of the old movies, I try to have a little of sadness on is face, because it’s a drama too.
All is done with Photoshop.
I hope you'll like it.

After made a charadesign of a monster ( http://cyrilt.cgsociety.org/gallery/588244/ ) a few month ago, Idecided to make a illustration with it. It was very interesting to created a burning sensation to the scene and painted the flame, all is done with photoshop.
It took me 3h to make the illustration form the original concept.
